Duet: Invisible Flock & Quicksand, 2017

Co-Commission of Duet, a collaboration between Invisible Flock (UK) and Quicksand (India).

About Duet

Duet is a collaboration between Invisible Flock (UK) and Quicksand (India), an ambitious digital artwork about finding space for reflection, expression and connection in our daily lives.

An app, an interactive web platform and a series of large-scale sculptures creating a year of connections between India and the UK, Duet is at once personal and public, global and local.  duet-app.com

Every day participants in India and the UK respond to one question via Duet App, gradually building a picture of their partner and their surroundings through shared messages.

An internet connected light and text sculpture takes the exchanges taking place live, from both India and the UK, presenting them publicly as ephemeral glimpses of evolving personal relationships.

Duet was installed at the V&A as part of London Design Festival in September 2017 prior to being shown at Frequency Festival 2017
