The past, present and future of Sincil Bank

For the first Picture of Us project Artist Educators Michelle Walsh and Hazel Donnelly worked with adult residents of Sincil Bank for whom English is their second language, to create digital images reflecting the history of the area of Sincil Bank in the past and present.

In the second Picture of Us project, Artist Educators  Kelly O’Brien and Ben Harriott worked with young people from Lincolnshire Employment Accommodation Project (LEAP.)  Young people were encouraged to explore the history of their neighbourhood and created their own contemporary photographs.

Both groups photographed the industrial heritage and the area by documenting buildings, sites, streets and organisations surrounding Robey & Co Ltd.
